East London’s Premier Jazz Venue. East Side hosts the cream of British jazz musicians on Tuesday evenings. We programme a varied selection of music from established modern jazz to providing a platform for the younger generation of musicians embarking on a musical career.
The club is managed by an enthusiastic group of volunteers and is run on a non-profit basis to maintain affordable admission charges. xx

Clive Fenner 1949 – 2019
Sadly, drummer, educator and club host Clive Fenner passed away on Sunday 28 April, 2019. Clive started the East Side Jazz Club over 25 years ago and was inspirational in its development and popularity. His friendly, relaxed manner was familiar to so many musicians and customers. He was the driving force and literally the beating heart of the club and leaves a legacy that will sustain his memory forever. RIP Clive.
